Hi

have just bought a set of these (via eBay) and wanted to know what the best way to fit these to my Colnago M10, which currently has a BSA B/B.

As the cranks seem to be BB30 guess I need one of Rotors conversion devices?

Having a look at them and wondered is there gonna be a serious advantage of going for the ceramic bearing version over the steel version? Price is drastically more!

Any other suggestions would be great!

thanks

the rotor bsa to 30 cups are the only way I know of. They are a bit pricey but it's that or swap the 3d+ for a 3d

Yes, the ROTOR cups are ideal for fitting the BB30 spindle of the 3D+ into a BSA Threaded BB

Ceramic bearings run a little smoother than the stainless steel ones and are obviously lighter, but for my standard of riding, they're probably not worth the extra cash!!! :(

Remember that the Rotor cranks are NOT BB30. They have a longer spindle, which enables them to be fitted on eg. BSA threaded frames. The right BB for this application is called BSA30. I can say it works very well, having used the Rotor 3D+/BSA30 combi for two seasons.

This is the least expensive "BSA30" BB I have found: http://www.bdopcycling.com/Bottom%20Bra ... 0BB386.asp
