Not sure alloy is a safe application for a brake nut. Certainly Ti is available, I have bought from these guys
http://www.torontocycles.com/ Don't find them on the site but it's being revised. It's one of the go-to sites for WW's.
This seller too
http://www.jerseycycles.com/Product-Pages/copy_of_Titanium.htmlSorry not in UK. But think of the tax you save

The front nut supplied with Campag brakes is 16.5mm and alloy. A good bike shop would probably have 1 or 2 kicking about as they're normally too short for forks.
I use an alloy on the rear but prefer to use Ti for the front. Just seems a little more robust for the greater braking forces.

Been using alloy ones from torrontocycles and have occassionaly been known to do an endo on the road bike. It has held up just fine

I'd never realized that Campy brake nuts were alloy. So, it must be OK
Looks like Ribble has the full range of lengths.

Alloy brake nuts will do just fine (campy went from the Record Titanium nuts to torcx Aluminium ones and never seen one fail). Just checked and have at least five differents lengths for allen key laying around so guess these shouldn't be to hard to lay hands on.
