I am a junior, looking to get a new road bike. I was looking into force 22, but I am not sure what I can do for junior gearing.
normal setup is either 52-14 or 44-12 for junior gearing
Can I get either of these with 11 speed?
Sram says that they only have cassettes that have an 11t as the smallest cog for 11 speed.

Are shimano 11 speed cassette compatible with sram 11 speed? I though shimano changed spacing amd sram didn't...

Sram's 10 speed spacing was the same as Shimano. Their 11 speed is too. Suicidal to do otherwise.skiandbikecmh wrote:Are shimano 11 speed cassette compatible with sram 11 speed? I though shimano changed spacing amd sram didn't...

SRAM’s 11-speed retains normal, 130mm road spacing, and its 11-speed cassettes will be compatible with Shimano 11-speed, though neither brand really acknowledges it.

Ah. Excellent. Thanks. I didn't think that shimano and sram 11 speed were compatible. Looks like I can easily get a shimano ultegra or dura ace cassette in 11 speed with 12-25 or 12-27 ratios.
Thanks!
Thanks!
