Hi

I need to re-grease the ratchet, pawls, and springs inside my currently in bits Tune rear hub.

Recommend me some alpha-male level super grease. I want the hub to maintain is aggressive and expensive sound and spin fast, so something light would be good. Also, the thought of getting even a single fingeprint on the bike gives me an anxiety attack, so I will certainly not be actively riding this thing in the rain.

What are my options?

I use this freehub body-specific grease...but primarily because I have DT Swiss hubs.

A heavy oil would be better.

Cheers.

I have been looking around and found an old thread on here about this, so will follow the advice and recommendations there.

Nice one.

I find it funny that people get taken in when they use part specific grease/oil on bikes.
It is way cheaper and fine to use the same oil you use in your car.
A light oil 10-20w or even a 20-50w will work.

Yup! Much cheaper and maybe even better performing, depending on the thickness of the grease...That being said, I occasionally like to use grease to dampen a particularly loud hub.
