Can't help but think these types of reviews are just puffery written by sock puppets. I almost never expect any real negatives to be written, which somehow only magically show up when describing the model that's about to be replaced in the context of the replacement.

What's the difference between the C60 Racing and C60 Classic?
Also does the frame come with a seatpost?

Thanks, it all looks very exciting, apart from the paint schemes. None of which I find very inspiring..

I happened to be in R&A cycles today. For New Yorker's needing bike porn this is the place. Amazing selection of the newest high end. Finally saw a C-60 up close. I hadn't much cared for the massive down tube when I first saw it in photos, but after seeing the bike in person, I could definitely get used to it. In the context of the whole design it seems to work visually. That said my c-59 rides like a dream and I can't imagine needing a stiffer bike, but if I was approaching the decision fresh, I could see going c-60 especially for the ability to choose wider wheels in the future, although it is priced a great deal higher than the c-59 which is available discounted at the moment.

Even though this is a c-60 thread, thought I'd post this experience about the c-59. I had to opportunity this past week to compete in the NYC Gran Fondo. It's a century with 8000 feet of climbs and a variety of road conditions. I did the same race last year in my previous Trek 5200.
All I can say is that Colnago knows something about engineer, geometry, compliance well everything. The bike accelerated, climbed was comfortable and always stayed planted just right. My time came in 90 minutes better than last year, which I'm sure was largely attributable to training, but I think the better bike did help as pedaling just feels more efficient compared to the Trek.
Not sure why one would need a stiffer bike, especially if one is not particularly large or heavy, but I understand the geometry of the C-60 is identical to the C-59 and as such, feel confident it is a great bike. Whether one gets it over the c-59 largely depends if you think you need a stiffer or more comfortable bike.

Just for the heck of it, I posted a question to the seller
The seller's response (privately to me, NOT placed into the item page)
Well, there you have it. Much ado about nothing, LOL.
Why are you selling counterfeit goods?

Taiwan makes quality carbon frames. The same lugs and tubing used in the itailian C60 are used in this version as well. It is not counterfeit.

I have seen the fake Colnago EPS up close before, it sure wasn't genuine lugs as far the naked carbon weave showed.
It was a continuous weave across the lugs, meaning it was one big molded model rather than joined lugs. Sure this one is different ?

They're only severe if someone does something about it and the case gets prosecuted all the way to the end. Look at all the fake Pinarellos out there. Difficulty of enforcement often outweighs the cost of a "do nothing" approach. There's of course the huge cases like Microsoft pursuing the large counterfeiters of their software, but Microsoft has deep pockets and much to lose. Bicycles?... meh. So, it mostly comes down to a Buyer Beware scenario.
