I have pair of Zipp 404 tubulars from 2011. Considering rebuilding w a powertap g3 hub. It is a 20 spoke rear wheel. Will it be a good build? Dt comp and brass nipples would be fine. I am 63 kg.

I've done a few of them. If they are Firecrest there are washers in the rims you have to deal with. Other than that it's pretty standard stuff.

They are not Firecrest. Thanks.

That's what I would do.

I just rebuilt my Zipp 404 FC clincher to a Powertap G3 hub. I went with DT Aero Comp spokes to help boost the stiffness over the stock CX-Ray spokes. 2x/2x.

They built easily. Mine did have the oval washers. It was a minor challenge getting the old washers out cleanly but I found that a stack of neodymium magnets made it an easy task.
