I will never be changing wheels, would you still not recommend them?

Set them up correctly and they will not let you down. In my experience, of course.

By setting them up correctly, do you mean follow the directions provided by Ciamillo?

Thanks, which version? Micro?

Yes; Micro's with all mounting hardware minus pads.

Hmmm. 12g over claimed. Did you use any extra washers?

Yes; 1. make sure the cam is correctly placed (i.e. in its lowest position) when not pulling the lever, and 2. cut the cable housing to precisely the correct length such that it does not push or pull the brakes out of center. This latter point will require some patience. And, of course, if you're not purchasing the micros (with the adjustable cam), be sure to use the correct washers.

No - that weight is with the thin brake pad washers and short brake pad mounting screws.

Thanks. So I assume that the Micros are easier to install?

That weight is a little disappointing for the Micros, which are claimed to be 150g.

Only if low weight is more important to you than function.

Huh? I didn't say that. The brakes are claimed to be 150g and the real weight is 12g over. That's a bummer. This is weight weenies after all.

Wow, 185g for the Micros?? Are you including all the washers? Even so, I can't imagine washers adding 30g.

This is the same weight as the Planet X brakes. What's the point of these then?

This is including everything in the box... I accidentally took them with both the long and short bolts. Correct weights shortly.
