Figured you'd appreciate a bit of info on the new 2014 Ceepo road frames...

Ceepo Mamba
MSRP = $1,799 frameset with frame, fork, HS, and reversible seatpost
Weight = 1050 grams
Features = Tapered aero headtube, aero tube-shaping, full internal cable routing, PF30 BB, Mechanical or Electric capable.
My Take = Very stable, very stiff, and suitable for road or tri with the reversible seatpost. Lots of tech for a pretty solid price.


Ceepo Stinger:
MSRP = $2,199 frameset with frame, fork, HS, reversible seatpost, and "hidden" rear brake
Weight = 1100 grams
Features = Mamba's big brother with hidden rear brake, dual-post-mount capable front fork, and bento-box bosses on top tube.
My Take = A slightly more aerodynamic version of the Mamba for the rider who will use their bike for triathlons as well as road.

That's actually the paint from the logo... It's tough on a white background to keep that from looking that way

Ah yes so it is...it was 11 pm when I saw the pics on my phone no less!
They look like built in knuckle dusters!

Just a heads up on ceepo, they have been fairly forward about not using any sort of Cfd or wind tunnel designing, just intuition and looks.

I was eyeing the ceepo mamba, for road and tri use. How does it fare with a scott foil ?(which is what im using now.) Im a roadie, but do dabble in triathlon from time to time, and I just registered Ironman 70.3 Philippines, no budget yet for a dedicated TT/Tri bike, so I was thinking of selling my scott foil and get a ceepo mamba.... How's the ride? I hope its not as jarring of a ride than the scott foil.... Hope you can do a bit of a review. Thanks

BTW, CEEPO is a Japanese brand, designed in Japan, made in Taiwan ... (pls correct me if Im wrong about the made in Taiwan, I was hoping it was made in Japan)

Yes we are the US distributors for Ceepo through Stage-Race Distribution.
Talk to me if you are a US dealer or consumer and I will point you in the right direction.
Yes they are produced in Taiwan, whilst designed in Japan with Mr. Tanaka at the helm.

Not quite true about eschewing wind-tunnel testing...stay tuned for later this year.
The focus with Ceepo is on stiffness, comfort, and super-stable handling.
Really smart design elements go a long way as well.

I actually never considered it all that Dogma-like, but funny enough they kinda handle (and dare I say ride) similarly.
Looks-wise the Mamba is far edgier and more techie, not quite as pretty and flow-y as the Dogma, which I suppose is admittedly in a different class.
Empirically though, when one considers similar weight, and at worst comparable stiffness and aerodynamics, this Mamba is the real deal.

Oh, and no they are NOT UCI legal.
