Shimano Hollowtech II compatability

Hi, I am considering upgrading my race bike from DA 7800 with Rotor 3d Power2max to either 6870 DI2 or 9000 mechanical. I am keen to use the shimano cranks with the stages PM instead of the rotor P2M.

I would like to then swap the LH stages crank between my winter bike, turbo bike and road bike.

My question is, will a 6800/9000 crank swap onto an older Hollowtech chainset, I would need to fit it to a R700 compact and a 5600. Are the splines on the axle and the pinch bolt system the same?

I know it will not look great, but do not want to use the expensive to replace 6800/9000 rings on my winter hack bike.
