I've used the no-name blue pads that came with my carbon Farsports wheelset. These have been all over good in dry and wet. Also the wear is pretty good. These are $5 a set.

Blue pads on ebay are ok for carbon? Are these the ones you talk about?

Same as the blue pads that came with planet-x brakes?

I've had good results with these, http://www.ebay.com/itm/221576302195 but I think most of it has to do with 6800 brakes. I have used them exactly 1 time in the wet, they are passable.

Not the same as came with Farsports wheels. Buy direct from them. I have ordered the new black pads they sell, said to give even more friction and better at higher tems. $10 a set. I have a set that came with my Planet-x ultraligh cnc brakes, but not used them since I never asked if they are for carbon brake surface.

No one uses Shimano OEM carbon pads? I have a set but haven't installed them yet.

I used them for a bit with C50's, now using the Swiss Yellow's.

Swiss yellow pads are the worst for putting heat into rims. I'd use something else, preferably pads recommended by the manufacturer.

Is there a big difference between Reynolds Cryo Blue and Reynolds Blue pads?
Do basalt brake tracks generally all perform the same with the same pads? Which pads work well with basalt brake tracks?

Another vote for 'nolds pads.

I find the cheap Kool stops do a good job but wear out way too fast.

Right. I forgot to ask if they are worth the difference.
