Hi guys,

It a bit of a technical question, but from what I saw that might be the only forum in the world that can answer it.

I been using the Campy Neutron Ultra wheels with Shimano DA 7800 for the past three years, with no issues.
I recently upgraded my bike to the new Lapierre xelius 800 that comes with DA 9000, as you can imagine, I can't use the old wheels which I really loves, the body cassette can't accommodate the 11 speed DA cassette.

I tried a few web sites and also asked Wiggle technical team but they didn't really didn't gave me any answer, their web site saying that it should fit, but I can see clearly that it isn't wide enough.

Did anyone of you encounter the same issue, I'm guessing there is a special body cassette that can do the trick, any ideas?

Cheers
Tomer

All Campagnolo wheels that are 11s Campagnolo compatible

Just so that we don't confuse the OP - ALL Campy wheels with freehubs with the current ultra-drive splining, meaning all wheels going back to the late '90's 9-spd era, will take an 11-spd cassette.

One.

So let's just say I'm drivin' this buggy...

Tomer

You are in Australia but don't know where - for Campag info in Oz the go to person is Felice at Cycling Projects in Sydney.

Danish :-)

Har du prøvet med en 11 speed cassette.....

Jeg har hjul fra 10 speed tiden og der kunne jeg sagtens bruge 11 speed cassette da det kom frem.

On a side note, all Campagnolo wheelsets except the really old ones are Shimano 11-speed compatible without freehub swap, since 11-speed cassettes are interchangeable between Shimano and Campagnolo.

From wheelsmith.co.uk:

After some careful analysis we can confirm that Campagnolo 11sp and Shimano 11sp cassettes are completely interchangeable.

So, there you have it.

Tillquist, I was talking Shimano/SRAM compatible. With a campag freehub body I know they are 9/10/11-speed compatible.
