How can it be a Manufacturer expects to be taken-seriously once having a faulty product pass along multiple-channels to a Indv. Customer?

Working-backward from POS to local Distributor(s) and also gaining input from the Brand because one significant production segment was neglected, which results in the piece entirely useless or needing professional shop-time. 'Competent' workmanship is all that'd be required, 'sez Manufacturer.

Problem is is, the Manufacturer designed their version of common interfaces to such a degree there are no Professional Shop Tools in existence to allow accurate repairs.

I don't get it, is this a put-down?

If it's said Dealer having packed-up and sent-out an item w/o inspecting it - then they are an incompetent business and expectation is on the Manufacturer to reign in this dissastisfactory engagment with the buying public and adjust their relationship accordingly.

If it's said Direct-Distributor offering no concessionary alternative to a Transaction which at the time was handled as standard-fare but actually violated Manufacturer rules and regulations required to be adhered to by their Dealers for sales-radius, then that Distributor is incompetent. And expectation, by nature of default, shifts to the Distributor assigned to the reciever's area to correct the issue.

If the Manufacturer is even in the slightest insinuating that a Private Customer, having accessed sales-listing for product on the Internet, then interacting with Salespeople and Shop Owners ahead of negotiating Price + Shipping is supposed to have access to limits on product distribution and knowingly inquire if a transaction is recognized as approved by the Manufacturer, then sorry - this Brand is obviously having some form of identity issues - be it professional or personal. And, freefall hedges on this months-long failed-relationship having some form of derogatory nature to it - alot of news and events unique to repsective Countries lends itself to some form of organized crime in the area being actively investigated. Circumstational but... I mean, ya know???

Am not going to name-names right now. This Manufacturer has a Dealer eager to be name-dropping a certain Pro Tour Rider w/ sponsorship and residing near to their Coffee Rides. However, due to the custom-version of the product boxxed-up and given a total-due - someone in Cycling comes away as €3,600.00 richer or, €3,600.00 poorer. Either one or the other, in the end both finish with having nothing to show for the effort...

Yet whatever the basis is for this Brand, this Distributor-Network and this Dealer washing their hands of a massive faulty-product issue & skirting the matter in its entirety remains unknown.

Aside from making some money.

That's your own fault for riding with no clothes on.
