Shimano SPD to Garmin Vector - stack height differences

Finally got myself a pair of Garmin Vector pedals yesterday! As a long time Shimano SPD user, I didnt really think too much of the change to the Exustar/Look Keo cleat system, and to be honest the "feel" is very similar.
One thing I didn't think about it all, is the change in stack height. Unless im wrong, the standard way of thinking is that Keo cleats have a bit more stack than SPD right? From a few different sources I see:
- Shimano Ultegra SL SPD having a stack of 14.7mm
- Look Keo having a stack of 17.1mm
Is this accurate data? If so I guess saddle up 2.4mm? Looking at the cleats visually, it does look like the red cleat with the vector's is 2-3mm chunkier.
The other assumption I have is that the red cleats that come with the Vector are the same as Look Keo cleats, in terms of stack?
Just looking for more data to confirm it I guess.
