Hi Everyone,

I've just bought a new Scott CR1 which of course, came without bottle cages. So I bought two Profile Design Kage's, unfortunately the standard Scott bolts come with a washer which interferes when trying to screw the bolt through the cage and into the frame. Anyways, being impatient, I bought some M5 bolts without washers from my local hardware store this evening. They appear to be a little loose when I screw them in. Does anyone know if M5 are the standard bolt for Scott? or is it M6?

Thanks in advance!

M5.

It's worth using low strength loctite on bottle cage bolts.

As this is WW you could replace them with aluminium bolts and save some weight
