Does anyone know of a shop (EU based) that currently (and actually) has nemesis rims in stock?
Lots of places are listing them, but either don't have stock, or only have 36H!

Looking for a 28 and a 32 to match up to some D-A 9000 hubs for a new build.
(Would prefer to be able to get both rims from the same place to save on a bit of postage!)

I don't think they do a 28h Nemesis, but you can always use a 28h Crono in the front since it has the same color and logos, just not the brass counterweight....

In which case you need look no further than this site's online shop....

You might be right actually. Only references i can find to 28h are a few years old. :?

Dammit, the search continues......

Nemesis are drilled for 32 or 36 only (which actually makes perfect sense). It would be better to get a 32-drilled DA hub to match the rear, if you want to build a bomb-proof wheelset.

The 28 hole Ambrosio Crono / F20 has an 80kg weight limit so it depends on your weight.

Forget the 'look', there is a big difference in the design and construction of the Nemesis and Chrono rims...

Nemesis can indeed be had in 28 holes. There are plenty of posters over at velocipede salon with them. However, I have no idea who they obtained them from. Maybe ask over there and someone might come forward with some better info.

Bit the bullet and just got a couple of 32s. (Combination of 9000 hubs, supercomp and revs.)
Weight of 4 spokes is really neither here nor there and not worth the effort of sorting out as it'll be going on a steel custom build anyway!
More interested in comfort with a vague interest in not weighing too much.

Congrats. You won't be sorry. Right rims, right hubs.

Bugger.
Ordered black spokes rear and silver spokes front. More hassle than it's worth (or the spokes are worth!) to send em back. Got some silvers on the way to complete the nemesis/dura-ace pair.

BUT

I was planning a second set of clincher wheels as well (on ultegra 11s hubs), so may as well use the spare spokes. Any other rims with a 610mm diameter, only ones i've found so far are H+Son TB14. (Which luckily enough was one i was considering anyway)

Any other suggestions?

Aero spokes on a nemesis rim?
At nearly three times the price of revs.............. you must be mad!

(Maybe if i ever get round to building some mid section carbons. But not until then!)

A 32 spoke wheel with a shallow rim is not aero to begin with so why waste your money on CX-rays. Also if CX-ray's are priced at three times the price or rev's then some one is charging to much for CX-rays. Also Laser spokes are cheaper than revolution spokes and ust as good.

IIRC i paid €0.79 for revs and the same site has CX-rays at €2.09
