One of my favourite rims is being dropped by DT Swiss the RR415. They think the RR440 will be a good replacement, it is a completely different rim. Madison did have 12 remaining rims in stock in 28H drilling well they did until a few minutes ago.
So anyone wanting these rims in the future will have to look at alternatives. Silly DT Swiss.

I'm not overly familiar with the 415. What's the matter with the 440? It's a little wider, which is in vogue, and yeah it's a little heavier - but I wouldn't be getting DT Swiss alloy rims for a super-weight-conscious build anyways.

I'm not sure this is a "disaster" of such dramatic proportions but why should DT keep a rim that is a poor seller.
