Do I need a press tool to put in the bearings to my headset for my new venge frameset or can I just place them in by hand? Also, what parts of the headset do I need to grease? Can I use the same grease I use at work for heavy duty equipment?

I think you'll find they're less 'press fit', more 'drop in' - and you shouldn't really need to grease them, other than perhaps a VERY thin coating to prevent sticking or corrosion.

The tools you use to press the headset bearings into place are the expander plug, top cap and bolt.
