Yep. Lots of chainring producers make them. Rotor may be the most easily available. Just google rotor 110 53 noq. (NoQ means round)

I'm pretty sure the larger bolt circle also contributes to the shift performance of 53/39. When the rings flex/move they do weird things.
I guess only shimano has done 53/39 on a big scale on 110bcd, but they use hollow chainrings to beef them up.

Plenty of options available, rotor, TA Specialites etc. word of warning: they look terrible and result in additional flex.
