Built up my 58 AR FRD frame friday night. Still mucking with fit etc. Put about 75 miles on it saturday, and another 10 sunday tweaking fit. Bike rides very well. Feels faster than my venge. Not quite as cushy as my Tarmac SL3, but way more responsive - feels at least as stiff in the bottom bracket as the venge. Doesn't have the skittishness that my venge seemed to exhibit. Rear end doesn't have the jarring impacts on road cracks/potholes that my venge had.
Weight of the frame (58) was 1100ish. But I didn't pull out the bolts, derailleur hanger, grommits, or the liner that was run to ease cable runs. Sorry - I was in a time crunch to get it up and together for my Saturday morning ride. The bottom bracket shell is a nice piece of machined carbon - Seemed a bit scary to press fit the bottom bracket directly into the frame, but it worked just fine. Fit/finish on the frame is excellent. Carbon spacers, headset, bearings all worked as expected. I suppose I should have weighed them to compare to the non-FRD versions. There wasn't enough room for a cadence magnet for the SRM on the outside of the bottom bracket shell, so I glued it from the inside through the little di2 hole. Looks/works perfectly. Seatpost clamp is a cool piece of engineering. It clamps down vertically while tightening it horizontally - clamped my 7x9 rails just fine.
Seatpost was 248g, including the bracket that functions as a collar, and the di2 hanger. Fork was 334g uncut. Cut down to 309g with 15mm of spacers. I'm running 5mm above the stem still - might end up 5mm either way for final fit.
ultegra di2 w/ sprint shifters (fd is dura ace, because I couldn't get the ultegra one quick enough),
Specialized s-works crankset with an SRM spider / praxis 39/53 rings
KMC X11 Chain (not an SL)
SRAM XG-1190 11-26 cassette
november rail 52mm wheels
running normal shimano brake cables,
planet-x CNC front brake,
ultegra direct mount rear brake BR-6810,
3t ergonova pro bars 42cm (on my list to upgrade)
Lizard skins dsp 3.2 tape
3T arx II team stem (110mm)
Fizik Antares 00 saddle
Specialized rib cage carbon knock off ebay cages
I'm planning on replacing the bar / cables pretty shortly, which should drop it under 7kg. Beyond that, the $/g ratio of my build gets prohibitive
I'll also be replacing some bolts / other miscellaneous stuff with red anodized bits: I've got a k-edge chain catcher on order.
