Hi
I see that a lot of people are using Linseed Oil as a spoke prep.
I want to do the same, but need to know; is there any particular kind of Linseed Oil I need to get, or is it a standard item?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Which Linseed Oil?

linseed oil (aka flaxseed oil) is linseed oil, assuming no added ingredients all should be equivalent bar filtering, get the cheapest
i use it for mixing paints, never heard of it for spokes before, it's a drying oil, i.e. it polymerizes, so i guess it might act as a weak threadlock

We use boiled linseed oil for our spoke prep and have found it works excellent. Just make sure to wipe off the spokes before it dries in place. . it'll be a ton easier.
