I've noticed lots of places discounting current models of the Cervélo range, and a conversation with two LBSs today had them both saying "something is happening but nobody will tell us what".

I'm intrigued (and it's not often I'm intrigued enough to post about it!).

A load of 'smoke & mirrors' for what ends up just being new paint schemes, or is there something genuinely more interesting / exciting on the way?...

My tip is NEW R3 and R5 having the same mold as RCA = the same Squoval3 shapes.
R5 actually being RCA produced in China withnout those extra expensive carbon fibers and nano coating on the fork. So, it wil be a little heavier than RCA.
Internal routing....for sure!

An R3 disc would be nice. Wasn't there also talk a few years ago of Cervelo wanting to change their distribution to be a little more like Canyon's, with bikes ordered through their site but fulfilled by certified dealers?

Yeah, the current R5 is nothing like the RCA. New tube shapes, new cable routing, different layup, etc

Given the comments Damon has made about how slow (aerodynamically) discs are I'd be surprised to see a disc frame. Unless they finally release the R3 Mud as an entry into the GRR market.

RCA trickle down to R3 would be pretty exciting.

Think internal cable routing or at least changed routing is probably a given at this point, especially something that is more electric friendly?

I don't really count that one - it's just to meet UCI requirements.
I was meaning if they choose to morph that bike into a (widely distributed) competitor for Roubaix/Domane market.
