Im switching from old dura ace to '04 record, and I've looked at the tiso and BTP cassettes, has anyone used any of theese cassettes? is shifting worse than with campy ones?
thanks,
Gonzalo

I've used the Tiso cassettes.

Both MM10 and normal Campy 10v models. They work well, the only change I found useful was to use a slimmer 3.0mm spacer that fits on the body before the first sprocket. This moves everything further in slightly so it was in the same position as wheels using Campy original cassettes. After doing this I could change wheels without having to adjust the shift setup.

I found shifting to be good with the Record chain, noisier with the Wipperman chain. Only good for about 1,200 miles though.

I use them on my weight weenie wheels, for normal use I have Record cassettes instead.

The BTP cassette looks like one of these with a steel top sprocket. Token guarantees them for 2,500km (1,560m). I have one for my Stiletto Light wheels in an 11-25t configuration to try come March :D

I've just ordered a cycledynamics full titanium cassette.. should arrive in 7 days time :D

cost for a camapg 12-21 9-speed casssette plus additional 23 and 25 tooth sprockets was $155.. Great price if you're not in the USA!! Quoted weight is 124g for a 12-21.

Will post on here when I get it about shifting performance.

I had one of the early Tiso cassettes and was running the Tiso rear der. with it and it shifted terrible. Since then they have added ramps to the cassettes and they sent me one as a replacement. The new version shifts really well. I only have about 80 miles on it and the more it gets broken in the better it shifts.
