This should be made a sticky so that in the future kids can see what their fathers could make them ride and allow them to contact the relevant authorities.

I just am cleaning the bike parts in the garage, and was wondering if that piece could be repaired.

From the very competent field of specialists we have here I can now confirm there is no use for it (I like the idea of a truing stand)...
