Recon 11speed Shimano Cassette for Sram 22?

I'm looking for an all Black 11sp cassette for my next build and stumbled upon this recon. I know it's not durable yadda yadda but let's not get into that.
The stated compatability is with Shimano DA 9000/9070 according to R2-Bike and Fairwheels. Would it also work with a Sram Red 22 Drivetrain and shifters. If not, could you possibly elaborate on why. I don't really get cassette/chain/drivetrain compatability
(Dunno if it matters but I'm gonna run a 11s KMC Superlight chain.)
