Hi,

Been eyeballing that one for a while as I bought a Extralite expander which is too big to fit my oldish Kuota steerer.
The Carbon-Ti expander is only 2g lighter than my current FSA one so I think I'll pass for the time being.

Ciao, ;)

Hi,

Yes, that surprised me too as it was the standard one that came with a Kuota. In those days manufacturers weren't exactly weightweenying yet... :P

Of course that's just the plain expander bit without the steel bolt which I replaced with a Ti one. The 26g quoted may well be the total weight of an FSA expander with alloy topcap + steel bolt.

Ciao, ;)
