Indeed only the SL would weigh that little. Then again, the 5.65kg you have listed for your Addict strikes me as low considering you're running clinchers and not particularly light finishing kit. The Addict SL weighs in at 5.88kg with a lighter groupset, wheels and similar finishing kit.

3t team stealth bar/stem
Lizard Skin 2.5mm
DA 9070 DI2 Group
Zipp 202 with Enve TI Skewers
S-works 24mm Turbo Tires with Conti Ultralight tubes
San Marco Aspide FX Carbon saddle
Ritchey headset and superlogic seatpost
It weighed in at 5750 grams without pedals. 5.9kg with Speedplay TI pedals.
And here you say it's 5.9kg. Do you not normally ride with pedals?
jnsv wrote:I can't speak for your bike. We used the park tool scale and I own the 2014 (52cm) black Addict TI. It weighed in at 790 and the fork (uncut) weighed 310. The sales manager and I joked about it not weighing under 1kg for both since he sold me on the idea it was less than 1kg. Hope this helps.
That's your sales manager's fault. The Addict Team Issue (HMX) was never quoted as under 1kg, only the Addict SL (HMX-SL) was. 1100g with an uncut fork is pretty bang on Scott's claim for the Team Issue frame/fork.

Definitely way more paint on the 2015 bike. Which is OK, because it looks sweet as. Though I'm still annoyed that they didn't do a replica of Chava's electric orange / blue scheme for last years Tour. If that ever comes out, shut up and take my money!

When manufacturers weigh their bikes, is it with or without pedals? Get a job?

It is the accepted rule on this forum that the bike is weighed with pedals attached and one bidon cage as this is how you would ride it at bare minimum, this allows direct comparison with other users posted build weights

Mate, if that's what you've gotta do to feel better about the weight of your bike then be my guest. A bike with no pedals is as good as no bike at all.
You're missing the point. Manufacturers numbers don't matter, actual numbers do (thus the listings). Of all the members of this forum I can pretty much guarantee that you're the only not including pedals in the final figure. Pedantic? Yes, but that's pretty much the point of this forum.
