Here are my girls , was thinking about the Foil or wait until 2014 for the Addict 2.0. But couldn't resist the Foil with the team colours and an Addict is an Addict :)

Nice collection!

Has anyone compared HMX frames vs HMF frames in terms of ride characteristics? Interested to hear if the difference in price is justified. Realise there are significant differences between the two beyond this.

So have their been any in-the-wild weight numbers for this one?

Hello,

I am interested in real life weight info of 2014 Addict frame & fork, specifically 10/20 HMF version in L/56 size.

If anyone can shed any light on it, that would be cool. I am thinking of swapping my 2011 CR1 Pro HMF frameset for it.

P.S. Claimed weight is 860-890g + 360g but they don't publish the related size (probably M/54 though).

Thanks.

I have a '14 Addict 10 in Large/56cm that I'm waiting to build so I've just weighted it for you and it's ~1290g with an uncut steerer (& factory headset)

Wow, what were the odds for that! :D

Amazing, thanks for the info.

Just for the record, my 2011 CR1 Pro was 1350-1360g uncut and without any headset parts.

Good luck with your build and hopefully you will present it on here.

I just built 2014 team issue, I guess 100 grams heavier with the paint. The frame weighed 790 grams with DA bottom bracket and 310 grams for the fork, uncut.

3t team stealth bar/stem
Lizard Skin 2.5mm
DA 9070 DI2 Group
Zipp 202 with Enve TI Skewers
S-works 24mm Turbo Tires with Conti Ultralight tubes
San Marco Aspide FX Carbon saddle
Ritchey headset and superlogic seatpost

It weighed in at 5750 grams without pedals. 5.9kg with Speedplay TI pedals.
I eat and bike.

2014-R5-5.77 Kg
2014-Addict TI-5.75 Kg

Hi,
I'm sorry for my English (maybe I did not understand) but actual weight for a Scott Addict TI frame (size?) is 790grams with paint?

What size?
Look the following photo: Scott Addict Team Issue 2015, size 54, with Shimano SM-BB92-41: 900gr not 775gr!!!!

I'm confused....

If i'm correct the paint of the 2014 version is just black and the 2015 has some heavy colours like white etc? In some others topics there are some huge differents because of the paintjob.

900g - 55g(BB) - 25g(bolts+hanger?) = 820g
Allow some grams for the paintjob, seems close enough to 790g
How much did the fork weigh?

Other post claiming 790 for a frame+BB seems very unrealistic.

I can't speak for your bike. We used the park tool scale and I own the 2014 (52cm) black Addict TI. It weighed in at 790 and the fork (uncut) weighed 310. The sales manager and I joked about it not weighing under 1kg for both since he sold me on the idea it was less than 1kg. Hope this helps.

Sorry for the confusion, BrunoDMS's weight for a Team issue, you have a SL

I just saw how this quote was worded in his post:-

"jnsv wrote:

and assumed both were Team issue.
