Need to paint Colnago C59

I have a 2011 Colnago C59 i want to repaint like thomas voecklers yellow c59 used in the 2010 TDF. I already called Colnago and tried to order a new C59 with a custom paint but they said they were not doing any custom paint work this year. So i need someone who can do a professional repaint with very accurate, perfect scale graffics. The frame needs no repairs just a High Quality custom paint job with exact font replication!

Doubt it will help much if your location is set correctly, but I've heard of a really good shop in Tuscany, Italy.

colnago has an independent refinisher here in the states they use for warranty work - i believe it's sem - that has all their patterns and stencils, etc.
i'd ask them who it is.

Hah! Sounds like that's the least of OP's concerns.

I am not concerned about the warranty. My biggest concern is getting the correct color yellow and correct font for the lettering. I visited all the above websites. It seems SEM may be the only painting CF frame sets. All others only show steel frames. As a matter of fact, SEM has a yellow C59 in their gallery but the graphics are slightly off. Specifically, the lettering is different and the head tube grafics are the wrong size.

I worked for him for 8 years, he's been around 40+ years and supplied some domestic pro teams, painted team bikes, custom carbon repair...nothing he can't handle. Tell him Gary asked you to call and maybe he might knock something off the price...doesn't hurt to ask.

Decals are no problem from what I can see.

The warranty issue would be fairly nonchalant , the dealer here in Perth informed me when I went test riding one that they have a two year warranty .... that put me off for such a renowned company.

I personally dislike the latest colour schemes of the C59's, so I like your idea of the repaint.

markyboy, did you try Mike Perry at Maestro? I was talking to him about 18 months ago and he told me the Benlux Colnago distributor was trialling a new re-sprayer in Holland. Maybe worth a shot.
