I think it was 2.75" ID or 2.5"
Definitely bigger than 2"

prend thanks for going through that with me. that sounds like much more in my relm of what i think can be done as i have not had any sort of training with carbon. I thank all of you guys for your comments. If i can get it to last 500 miles i would be really happy with that. and to cut 28 grams total i am loving that. Thanks again

prend do you know what shrink that is? i am seeing 3:1,2:1 shrink ratio and is yours a med,heavy or thin wall shrink? thanks.

2:1 for sure, medium wall I believe. I'm not with the bike at the moment and away from home by several hundred miles, so this is all from memory.

That might work, even though it is 3" ID. Give it a shot!

Unfortunately I do not remember where I bought my heat shrink tubing, it has been quite some time since I purchased a few meters worth of it. It was some tech/computer website though, not eBay.

i have not put the heat shrink on yet i was asking before i did something that would really make me kick myself. my gun only has two settings. i will use the low one. thanks

3 in seems to big your scale look like laying down it is 3.25? is that correct?
