I've heard people saying the Selle San Marco Aspide was similar to the SMP. Never tried SMP myself, but thumbs up for the Aspide, it's my saddle of choice.
OP, if you don't mind me asking why do you feel you need a SMP saddle? Is it the cut out you seek? Are you having comfort issues on a traditional saddle? What other saddles have you tried and why didn't they work?
I was on an SMP Carbon up until about a week ago. Although it addressed some issues it did create others for me.
