Hi all.

Im in doubt here. Im buying the Caad10 black inc size 52, and it comes with the C1 version Cannondale handlebars and stem. I'm a big fan of 3T and therefore I bought the 3T pro stem (110mm) and 3T ergonova pro (40cm)

I have a really hard time finding any weights on C1.
My 3T weights in at 425g.

Will there by any weight gain or loss if changing to 3t?

Think weight gain, don't really know exact C1 weights but the 3T Pro handlebar is heavy.

Okay, thanks a lot. I'll keep the C1 and try to find other places to loose weight :)

Yeah, you're basically comparing C-dale's top of the line parts with 3T's bottom rung. The C1 will beat out Pro every time, you're looking at LTD if you want to see an appreciable difference.

I have an extra C1 or C2 stem - don't remember which - it's light, but doesn't feel solid. I use Syntace now, but I also had a Deda Zero 100. Both the Syntace and Deda seem much better built. I believe awhile back the Cannondale stems were re-branded Syntace, but I don't think that's the case anymore. I know everything is tested and approved, but I didn't feel the Cannondale stem was safe, so I got the Syntace and have been very happy with it. I know this is WW, but I wouldn't go nuts saving weight on bars and stem - if something fails, it'd be bad.

My 3T Ergosum Pro 420 weigh 237 gram. Not too heavy...
