I plan on purchasing a new bike during the next off season - but until then, I want to give some new spark to my old bike.

I want to put a nice set of wheels on the new bike I end up buying and I figured it wouldn't hurt to buy some early and throw them on my 2005 Trek Madone 5.9 for the time being.

Will Zipp clincher 404's fit on my trek? I'm assuming the answer to my question is yes... but I just want to make sure I wont run into any technicalities before I purchase them.

The bike is completely stock. All Dura Ace Components - 10 speed - with the stock Race X Lite AERO Wheelset on it.

Also, I'm looking for suggestions on where I can purchase the Zipp wheelset for a good price.

Thanks in advance!

If you are asking if it's a good idea, I say yes, and alot of places are really clearing out the 2012 models where you can get a new set for well under 2K USD. (Excel sports comes to mind)
