Hey

Anyone know where I can get my hands on a Tune MIG45 front hub? Everywhere I try seems to not want to sell it to me as a hub alone, and insists on having it supplied built into a wheel. I want to build my own wheel, so just want the hub!

I realise I need to get the special Tune tool to allow me to lace the hub, so this would need to be bought also.

Anyone managed to get hold of one by itself (but with the Tune tool)?

If so, where did you get it (and out of interest, how does the tool work and what does it look like?)

Cheers!

We've tried a few times to get them and we're always discouraged by our distributors. Apparently the Mig 45 almost always comes in overweight which means that the actual weight difference between it and the Mig 70 is minimal at best.

Ah, cheers for the info.

Yeah, I realise it is going to be a case of 20 odd grams difference.

I am a tart when it comes to my bike though, and the looks do play a part in which gear I wish to run. J-bend on front wheels isn't as nice as straight pull for some reason.

Ridiculous, I know, but there you go.

I will persevere!
