Nothing will happen cause rarely (never?) UCI check bikes after the race...?
I know of two women that were disqualified after the Pan Am Games road race for underweight bikes.
One of them was 3rd.
They can weigh after a race so you could win and then be disqualified.

I remember a race a few years back where several riders had water running out of their frames. The teams had frozen water inside the tubes to meet the weight limits and the bikes got lighter as the race went on. I wish I could remember where I saw it... I'll hunt for a link.
wow... that also helps to give anyone behind them a harder time with the wet trail left behind...

Not the first time I hear of UCI's directors being more stricts at minor events (disclaimer: not trying to be offensive towards the Pan Am Games guys...).
Time ago I heard from a WT rider that they would get some weights into the bars and then drop them once the race start.
