Hi everyone, so for a while now ive been looking for the flat bearing cover for the systemsix headset. Ive checked just about everywhere, cannondale experts has the supersix top cap but i emailed them and they confirmed it is not the same piece. Does anyone know where i can find just the top cap? Thanks

Do you have a photo of what you're looking for? I have some assorted Sys6 parts laying around.

This one is part of the standard headset assembly, it's just underneath another one:

That's actually just a very low-stack headset cone spacer. You should be able to use any cone spacer (taller ones look like cones, hence the name) of the same height. Loks like you probably have 7.5mm cone with a 5mm spacer.

Not really...the System Six's head tube is 1.5 all the way through. You cannot use a 1 1/8 bearing cover. The lower cover measures 5mm.

Yeah, I was doing some research on slamming my own stems today and now see that Cannondales use dust covers with lips rather than normal 1.125" cones. There are a few companies that make them aftermarket:

Edit: Oops, read SuperSix, not SystemSix. Feel free to ignore me.

You can get a full SystemSix headset for around $75-90, but I don't see lone dustcaps anywhere.

Those will not fit a System Six 1.5 headtube.

The System head tube does not taper.
