Tommy,

your going to love the ZG's. I had to buy new cables though. the ZG's are much more compact and the old cables were too short (especially on the rear).

Merry Christmas
metallurgy will only get you so far, after that, use carbon fiber

Tommy,

Those are gold 'anodized' or titanium nitride coatings ???

As in is it a pale yellow or a deep, rich gold colour ??? It will be interesting and a little overkill if they are the latter...

They are a real gold colour, not jellow.

I ordered also a SRP gold rear der. set and chainring bolts.
I am hoping this wil look good. Not like some fancy paradise bird :D

THat means that they are the nitride coating !

Thats gonna be hard to tell how they look until they are done really. But the nitride coating is tough! In fact they are often used for machining bits to reduce wear ! So you're goona have some really bling screws for a long, long time ! :D

@tommy: are you replacing any of the bolts in the brakes with the gold ones, or are they for other parts of your bike?

@toko: I bought them at titan concept. I have ordered from them a couple of times and i am very pleased with them!

@boonen: No, i am not replacing any bolts in my 0'g. The bolts are for stem, fd and clamp, cranck (dura-ace) and seatpost clamp etc...
