Yes, Mavic tubes have black stems, however you may have to do a little digging to find a verified weight.

Maxxis MVS Ultralight & Flyweight tubes are available with black valve stems.

The Maxxis MVS tubes that 585 mentioned will be the lightest. Essentially 45g +/-, and the stem is aluminum, available in different lengths too.

Any reason why valve stems cannot be made out of a polymer? Shear strength for hand pumps?

How deep are your rims? Deep enough for short valve stem plus black extenders? That way you would not be limited to a brand with a black stem.

What I found working better and with better looks than the permanent marker is a very tight black electrical tape use. One time tight around and the threads are still visible ,too.

Heat shrink tubing is another option.
Not as light as marker though?
