Unfortunately, I cut my new KMC X11SL chain too short. Is there any way to safely press the remaining pin back in? I've already snapped in the missing link. Can I cut it again and use two missing links? I hate to have to buy a new chain, but it really is slightly too short and I don't feel comfortable running it at this length.

Thanks!

don't try re-using a pin that you've extracted

you can use extra missing links to splice in a piece of chain (afaik the 11-speed ones are not re-usable, so you need to add two more)

Yup--one Missing Link and one inner link from the cut section will make your chain two links longer. That's pretty much the only way to do it.
