I have S-Works crank and am getting a 110 lightning spider.
I was going to go with extralite 50/34 rings, but they seem hard to get.
What's the low down on best balance of weight/availibility/price for 110 chainrings?

Actually the Extralite were easy to get. You can order directly from Extralite and the process was straight forward. I received my rings in about 7-10 days after the order and did it all on-line.

I'm using a pre-2012 SRAM red FD and a set of Exogram cranks.

The shifting isn't noticeably different than when I had the standard chainrings. I can't comment on the durability/longetivity of the set-up yet because I have only had the rings on for about 200 miles.

I can say the shift from small ring to big is a little slow but I don't race so it isn't really an issue. I spend most of my time riding in the large ring.
