I am seeing a lot of adverts for Force 22, but nothing for Red 22.....wonder why they are pushing Force more.

I saw Sram has a new S-Series to offer 10-Speed hydraulic brake options. So, that is good news. Allays my earlier noted concerns.

I just barely got my 10 spd. Red parts on my bike, and now this!! It'll be a while before I make another upgrade. I can't afford to buy a new group, every time the manufacturers decide they need another small change. Luckily, the old stuff still works real good!

Red 24 VOLT is Supposed to be coming out mid August, so maybe wait and see what that has to offer.

Sram 22 is due out a month or two before Ultegra but looks like it'll be more expensive than it.

Yup, Tim Johnson already has it on his commuter bike. It runs off of a solar panel on the rear fender.

Seriously though anyone know if it will be possible to change the internal ratchet in a 10sp 2012 Red shifter to turn it into 11sp? Worst case would buying a Force 22 right shifter and swapping some of the internals even be feasible? Not sure how easily SRAM shifters can be taken apart.

*Note: in case any SRAM reps are reading this you guys could score major points from past customers if you'd just make an upgrade kit with the needed parts available...just saying.
