My bike comes stock with this thing, which must be filled with lead:
http://www.fullspeedahead.com/products/ ... d-Seatpost" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It seems like an easy target for weight savings, BUT I cannot seem to find anyone else who makes this shape topper in something carbon/alu. Thoughts? If no other toppers are available in this shape, are there part swaps I could do to lighten it up?

looks similar to one that fits on the Litespeed CR series. don't know of any replacements that are lighter.

Bummer. Seems at least 100g heavier than others on the market.
