Thanks for the answers, there are others negative things in this frame ?
The RD hanger is kind of short so you need to remove the skewer in order to install the rear wheel. If you don't dismantle your bike often then this isn't a big deal.
The rear brake entry to the top tube is on the right, should have been on the left.
I found some extra metal flashing on my BB threads, I cut them out with an xacto knife before threading in my BB.
Other than that I have about 250 miles on it, climbing, sprinting, potholes, descending, etc. and the frame works well.
Thanks! Can u post some photos about your bike ?

Yup no prob, I posted my build some pages ago. It was from the initial posts from kidrob that sold me on this frame so glad to post my experience.
Frame, seatpost, saddle, stem, stem spacers, water cages, handle bars all from aliexpress.
And was able to piece together a full Di2 7970 drive train for under $400 used.

Hello all! Long time lurker, first time poster. Lots of great info and beautiful builds here!
I've been reading the posts from the last year in this thread over the last day and nobody's mentioned the Workswell WCB-R-085:
http://www.workswellbikes.com/PRODDUCT/ ... 116/7.html
I'm looking to build a 1x11 bike with an endurance frame for century rides this year and this seems to tick off the right boxes. I did my first century ride last year and while I enjoyed it, I did it on my CX bike and parts of it felt a little sluggish (especially the parts that go up!) so I'm aiming to improve on that this year. The 5kg weight difference alone should make a significant impact on those climbs.
Any opinions or concerns about this frame that I should consider? If not this, are there other frames that may fit my needs? At the very least, I'd like to be able to fit 28c tires and have a BSA BB.

I thought on paper the 093 looked better.
Its not bsa but there are a few threaded bbs for bb86.
I ordered one but Workswell have been slow af.

Yeah, I thought the 093 looked better on paper too (which Workswell just told me is the replacement for the 066), unfortunately it's $300 USD more than the 085. At that price, it's starting to get close to $900 CAD for just the frame. For just a few hundred more, I could just get a second hand Giant Defy Advance 2 or 3.

I have the 085 frameset and it's a rather boring and unexciting ride. Pretty sure this is a proprietary mold as opposed to a " copy" of a tried and tested frameset. Much prefer my 066 frameset but that's just me.

085 has a vague resemblance to older Trek Madones at least with the upper headtube bulge and seatstay/seattube cluster.

Can anyone with an FM008 in 54cm confirm the stack and reach? It seems odd that the reach would be less than the 52. Just want to be sure. Will be replacing my FM066SL which has developed some issues.

Roughly on mine I measured:
Stack: ~21" (53.34cm)
Reach ~16" (40.64cm)
So I would say their geometry listed on the site is correct.

fm008 would have been the perfect bike if it had clearance for larger tires.
Ive heard good things about the FM686 aka LTK118. If my FM066 ever crashes ill be buying that

Sorry, I didn't have calipers nor a way to jig up my frame to get the correct dimensions. False claim on my part.

Thanks for your input, bikergrove. Can you elaborate on why you think it's boring and unexciting?

Not OP but my take is that there's just nothing special about it. Standard compact frame shape, non aero profile, not lightweight, nothing integrated. Just pretty basic.
