Has anyone taken the plunge? I already have a Workswell 085 and a Carbon-Cycle 066 but i'm getting that itch again. Not overly keen on the integrated brakes but the frameset looks sweet. I was quoted $714 to deliver to the UK.

Looks very promising. I'll be watching for builds.

I am waiting for them to be ready to produce with a size 52 mould and i'll order. They had issues with the stem so now begins a new testing phase ...
The price includes the stem and handlebar, which seems more ok.

I was going to pull the trigger myself on this frameset. Do you know what kind of issues they are having with the stem? I understand that it is the only stem that can be used with it since it runs the cabling internally through it. Everything is proprietary on this set, including handlebar and stem. If I order it for racing, I'm going to order an extra handlebar, stem and seatpost in case of crash.

No i don't know exactly the kind of issue they have with it, they just told me the QA they've run with the first batch showed an issue they had to fix, it should take 2-3 weeks before they're ready for a new run

That's true for the proprietary limitation as it is on most modern aero bikes now, and it's a good idea to order a set of spare elements

How this shipping method works? Does it allow You to avoid additional fees - taxes etc. ?

Hi

The other day I was poking around on eBay for carbon frames and saw this one:
Image
Looks interesting quite a nice shape, almost no slope, normal brake placement

Link is here:

But I cant find any info on it other then whats found on eBay. FM-R09 only gives a few hits on google. Anyone have more info on it??

I think I figured out who is manufacturing all these frames, getting some great prices now, below 400US for FM066/R01 and little more for FM686

FM 069 here, with ultegra 6800 groupset.

Did you use the special shimano tool to install the front derailleur?

I've installed both FD-5800 and FD-9000 without the tool, poor compatibility with 34/36 has caused me more issues than lack of cable guide.

I ordered it. The sales guy says the stem hole is a little large, and the shipping date will be 25 Feb.

i had also the same feedback early this week, it is very frustrating as they have presented this frame way before it was in fact ready to be sold
which size have you ordered and raw or painted ? because she told me also that to paint it it would take a little while as authorities are checking the tooling at that period ...

There's quite a lot of slope when the dropouts are horizonal!

Looks to be quite heavy in bigger sizes (1060g +/-50 for the 49cm frame).
I wonder if the paint is included in the weight?
