The rear brake area is different depending on the size of the frame, although the frame in this pic could still be a prototype, not sure. It's also from the Cervelo FB album.

I would guess that the 48 and the 51 seat stays aren't long enough for the cutout.

Hesjedal was riding Rca at Amstel Gold Race. There were silver CERVELO stickers on the downtube. The silver looks really cool.

First two RCA California frames were delivered yesterday.

One in size 51cm, one 54cm.

Real weight of the frames.

51cm: 612g

54cm: 618g

Fork: 306g with uncut steerer tube that's looong...

The most impressive detail about the frame, apart from the weight, is the absolutetly stunning finish! You can tell that this is not a mass production frame. Even the inside of the tubes is impeccable!

51 cm : 612 g
54 cm : 618 g
48 cm?: 597 g

All three are below the average line but within the green band

A lot more pictures of the 54cm RCA are found at www.cyclespassieu.com

The 51cm is getting built at the latest next week, and another 51cm coming in soon enough to get built as well.

Despite the price tag, these babies are flying off the shelf faster than a lot of other high-end bikes.

LBS I go to has a 54 and a 56. Very classy looking frame. Love the subtle silver graphics and the touch of red.

Sacke, or anyone else who can answer this:

Is there a way to run the cables internally without full housing throughout? Or must housing run all the way through the frame?
(Obviously for the type of rider that is not interested in electronic drivetrains)

Are you working at cycles Passieu in Nimes? (One of the greatest bike shops I've EVER seen).

I haven't seen one in person but the Rca manual on the cervelo web site says plastic cable stops for wires at frame entrance and exits. there are inserts for all three systems. Wire, hydraulic and battery powered. It's an easy guess that the next gen R5 and R3 will have the same setup.
