I hope this is Cervelo future proofing on industry knowledge, and not just a guess. I'd love to see some hydro (discs & derailleur) groups.

@airwise, Yes, Magura RT hydraulic brakes fit the RCA perfectly.
@Pharmstrong, the RCA is ready for an (unannounced) hydraulic shifting system.
Cheers,
Damon

@prendrefeu, the cable housings (for mechanical derailleurs) stop at the frame entry and exit points, using click-in cable housing stops. Just bare wire in between.
Cheers,
Damon

Damon, thank you.
I do know for certain that ACROS is coming out with a hyrdaulic drivetrain system for road, just not the ETA.
I'm hoping that one of the major three manufacturers follows suit.

You're welcome predrefeu.
ACROS is one, there is at least one other. Sorry I cannot say who!
Cheers,
Damon

A rotating groupset?
There are plenty of reasons to buy an Rca, the light weight is a big one for me. To go ahead and install heavy hydraulic brakes just so that you can have the latest cool thing does not make sense to me.

What? The Rca doesn't have dick brake mounts.

Hi sedluk,
The hydraulic brake compatibility is achieved by simply making a different pair of clip-in top tube cable guides with through holes (not housing stops).
Hyro is an option for those who like it, and there's zero weight gain for those who don't!
Cheers,
Damon

The Peloton Magazine review, on which I comment here:
There is a fury to the way the bike reacts to power -- it leaps from under you, but the feeling continues beyond the initial acceleration. Each pedal stroke delivers a new surge forward.
