Has anyone tried using a Shimano 9700 11 speed crank on a electronic 10 speed system, Ultegra specifically and if so were there any issues?

Haven't tried setting that up yet but I have worked with both on their own. Keep in mind the chain on the 11 speed is narrower, and pick up teeth on 9700 cranks will be matched to the new 11 speed chains which are no longer directional.
Short answer, should work but may be a bit of compromise with the front shifting.
