I ordered mine through Giro's "First 50 Friday" promotion. They still haven't shipped. When I contacted Bell Sports (Giro) they told me my shoes were backordered. Now it seems they are sold out. How is a special edition of anything backordered? And how did I manage to purchase one of the first 50 pairs offered to the public, out of only 400 produced, and am now being told they are sold out?

Giro just lost a customer of over 20 years...

crazy.

similar to airliners over booking their planes.

btw, how do people measure stack height?

My friend wore his electric blue in yesterday's race. He loved them. I kept teasing him, saying he was part of the Blue Man Group, lol. In reality, I was just jealous ... the shoes are HOT!

The shiny black really does look nice on these shoes, borderline formal wear :)

Just pulled the trigger, hope a Giro 42 fits like a Sidi 42. Thanks for the tip!

Anyone who's ridden with them a little while now have any sense of how appropriate the shoe would be for longish days in the summer?
