Are you comfortable with wearing or removing?

Sorry for posting in an old subforum, I'm looking to get a Empire SLX size 46, but not sure if it will be too big for me, feet length 28.5cm ish, with my running shoes in a size 11 for adidas. Any suggestions? Thanks!
My feet measure about 27.7cm...I found Empire 45s were okay for length but way too narrow...check the width
Really appreciate the help! So length wise, I should be fine right? My feet are 9.8cm at their widest, any thoughts on this? I did try a Fizik R3b and found that too narrow, but Empire ACC fine.
My feet are 11.5cm...bit wider than yours

It's good that you've been able to try them on...if they feel okay

I liked the Giros, well made, really liked the laces & good colours.
Due to this I persevered longer than I would have with other shoes

I am a size 11 in Nike, 10.5 in adidas and bought a Giro Prolight in 45.5 (they are AWESOME by the way). I could have even gone with a 45. It fits smaller than SIDI's in my opinion.

I wish I'd known this last month :(

I bought a used pair of Empires to try out in 42 because the equivalent US size was marked 9.5. I wear a 44 in Sidis (and size 10 Nike running shoes) and I could barely get my foot in the Giros. Way too small to ride in. (although I really like them and hope I can find some 44/44.5's now)

Anyone on the Knits yet? Tossing up between a pair of Knits and some VeloKicks from Tinea Pedis

My first pair of Empire ACC was a 44 and was wide enough for my wide feet. I decided to get another one on-line as we didn't have stock locally then. My second pair, though being the same model was not as wide but still fit me. It was pretty obvious with the wider lace opening. I'm on my third pair as I love this model, but I ordered the SLX. A bit weird as the fit was wide and similar to my first pair. I guess that's the problem with buying on-line. There was no indication of shoe width so I assumed I didn't have a choice. Despite the differences in production, I would still get another pair of Giros but maybe the tech-lace version.
