I have 2 speedneedle saddles that I can try out. But the rails are 8mm... Anyone know any seatposts that are compatible?

I have Thomson posts, but they can only be used with 7mm saddle rails...

I can get Tune posts cheap, but don't know if there are different kinds... Although their posts should fit their saddles...

I tried them with a Thomson post at work, I didn't tighten the bolts really hard, just enough to see if it would fit... The marathon fitted perfect, but the lighter saddle (109gram version, full carbon rails) had a small gap between the clamp and the rails... Maybe tightening it to the correct tension would press it in, but since Thomson only guarantees a perfect fit with 7mm saddle rails, I didn't want to risk it...

I think I'll just try the marathon on a Thomson then, and maybe get a Tune post or something for the other saddle...

@Joel, thanks for the link, since I was at work, I didn't have a lot of time to search the forum...

I put the one with aluminum rails (carbon rails with aluminum shell) on the Thomson and tried for a 90 minute training on the Tacx and it worked fine... Will try it on a real ride when it stops raining...

Haven't tried the full carbon one, since I don't want to risk breaking it...
