Hi Guys,

have a question regarding this setup.

I have followed the Rotor manual and have this going from non drive side to drive side:

Crank arm and preload nut - washer 1mm NO DUST SEAL - BB - NO DUST SEAL large conical spacer - Crank arm.

Something doesn't seem right, the manual says to only use the dust seals on bare bearings without a shell but I am not sure? I also have no 'wavy' washer installed.

Does anyone have any experience of this setup on the BBright cervelos?

Cheers

James

The manual states no dust shields because it assumes there will be some present from the pf30 bb assembly. So yes, use the dust shields that say SRAM pf30. Do not use any wavy washer, the crank has the preload collar that does the wavy washer's job.
Last thing is most Cervelos I've built required the extra 1mm spacer to be left off. Installing it resulted in binding. So don't be afraid to leave yours off if you need to.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. The crank is indeed binding with the 1mm spacer.
